RIP Lilly Pulitzer
This is a small tribute to fashion designer Lilly Pulitzer , who passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the age of 81. Her fashion line was quite unique, and was know for its vibrant colors, and bold patterns. She actually started the trend of colorfully printed dresses in the late 50's while working at her own juice stand to cover up the juice stains on her clothes. Her brand took off when Jacqueline Kennedy was photographed wearing one of her dresses while on vacation. Her line has expanded over the years to include men, children and items for the home.
